Pain acceptance

To minimize the struggle and set the stage for healing and change, it's important to accept our situations, good or bad.

Research has shown that pain acceptance is associated with less pain-related fear, less emotional distress like anxiety and depression, less pain avoidance, greater physical and social ability, better work status, and even less pain. It has also been shown that acceptance is beneficial to pain rehabilitation.
