You're not alone - join my "no drama"/"no whining allowed" support group
.It can be lonely living with chronic pain. But you don't have to be alone.
The Chronic Pain Champions - No Whining Allowed support group offers a "positive” resource for people with non-cancer/end-of-life chronic pain, caretakers (family and friends), medical professionals, and industry experts to champion pain.
The focus of the group is understanding pain, accepting pain, adjusting to pain, and adapting to pain using the principles of pain rehabilitation, including:
No pain talk, complaining, woe is me, or negative talk is allowed as it can worse the pain experience and disrupt self-efficacy.
We don't discuss specific conditions or medical treatments.
Education, pain management information, and reassurance/support are always welcome. Positive support and social modeling help motivate each other and build self-efficacy.
Everything is private - nobody sees your posts except for people in our caring community.
Please answer all the membership questions and agree to the group rules to join us.
